Ever since Marianito Cachetn, distinguished member of the Panuchn party, saw the presidential insignia land on his hopeful breast, there has been no end to the circus put on by the tanpendecuerense political class: Panuchones, Perrodones and… PRInos. Yes, it now turns out that the PRInosaur-the party that, for 70 years, practiced a perfect dictatorship in Tanpendcuaro-never left, nor did it go for a walk. It was always there, as the dinosaur in the worlds shortest tale written by Augusto Monterroso. Could it be true that, as perverse analysts and malicious polls indicate, the PRInosaur will lay waste to all its enemies under the aegis of Don Perpetuo Sonoro Peltrn, Peln Chupacabras and, to a much lesser extent, governor Peita del Chorizo, who, by the way, already has his comb handy for the mother of all elections? The answer to all these enigmas, the concerned reader will find, is in the hands of aliens who, after conducting several abductions, have discovered the existence of a pernicious gene that biologically forces tanpendecuerenses to always vote for the PRInosaur.
