A revisionist view of the architecture and city of Buenos Aires during the mid-19th century in opposition to the traditional idea of a tranquil, small city. The capital city two centuries ago was a complex urban geometrical structure whose society was also an active participant of the revolutionary elite who reorganized the city based on the typical geometrical models of the of late Enlightenment ideals for architecture and urban design.
