The exhibition pays homage to militant and artist Venturi (b. Italy, immigrated to Argentina in 1943) presenting a selection of neofigurative style drawings, political cartoons and paintings created while in jail and during the military repression of the 1960s and 1970s. After joining the artistic movement Grupo Espartaco with whom he shared ideological beliefs, he was kidnapped, tortured and incarcerated multiple times during the military dictatorship, finally in 1973 he was detained and later disappeared.
