This 4th sculpture symposium along the Latin American sculptors included this year a guest sculptor from Turkey, creating an heterogenic artistic group that ranged from abstract,figurative and conceptual art who worked in monumental pieces (2 to 4 meters) using wood astheir main material. The artist, chosen based on their merits and previous experience with largeformats included: Mauricio Guajardo (Chile 1976), Carlos Guzman (Puerto Rico), CarlosMedina (Venezuela 1953), Fernando Pinto (Colombia 1975), Kemal Tufan (Turkey 1962) andRamon Villalobos Tijelino (México 1934). The work space from previous symposiumswere held in a neoclassical building located near the museum, this year the works have a specificspace in the university campus –Provided by vendor.
